- Aim to achieve SBTI Near Term Target: Aligned with The Keystone Group emission reduction target of 36.6% based on 2021 Group baseline year
2030
- Aim to reduce Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 100%: Scope 1 covers direct emissions from owned or controlled sources. Scope 2 covers indirect emissions from the generation of purchased electricity, steam, heating and cooling consumed by the reporting company.
2027
- IG Masonry Support’s EPD (Environmental Product Declaration) review and update: All new and existing products are to be reviewed and certification to be updated based on the current manufacturing process.
2026
- Aim for all IG Masonry Support company car fleet to be converted to fully electric or hybrid: Aligned with the end of lease of fossil fuel engine vehicles
- Continuous improvement of laser cutting facilities: Upgrade onsite systems to significantly reduce nitrogen usage
2025

Carbon Neutral Environmental Product Declaration: EPDs are received for every IG Masonry Support product, which transparently communicates the product’s or material’s environmental performance or impact over its lifetime.

2021
IG Masonry Support becomes a Carbon Neutral manufacturer: IG Masonry Support leads the way in the Keystone Group, becoming the first company within the group as well as its sector to achieve carbon neutral status.
Science Based Targets Initiative signed (SBTi): The Science Based Targets Initiative defines and promotes best practice in emissions reductions and net-zero targets in line with climate science.
Switched to renewable electricity tariff: At both sites in Swadlincote and Overseal to support a lower cost of capital and careful use of the distribution system to deliver lower-cost, renewable energy.
Upgrade to biodegradable packaging: Switch to biodegradable packaging for products which ultimately reduces the amount of wasted materials and consumption of resources.
Scope 3 emissions assessment: These emissions are the result of activities from assets not owned or controlled by the reporting organisation, but that the organisation indirectly impacts in its value chain.
