EVENT | See us at Leeds BDA Brick Works Event

IG Masonry Support is delighted to collaborate with the Brick Development Association (BDA) for their 2026 Brick Works series – a nationwide programme aimed at fostering dialogue around modern brick architecture and masonry support systems.

The Brick Works Series comprises a number of lively and educational evening events designed to highlight the adaptability and creativity of contemporary brick design. These gatherings also offer professionals a valuable chance to connect with industry peers and earn continuing professional development (CPD) credits.

Each event in the series will include presentations by some of the UK’s leading architectural voices, sharing insights on innovative brick applications in today’s built environment. Attendees can expect to explore the latest trends in brickwork and celebrate the craftsmanship behind cutting-edge design.

With the support of IG Masonry Support, this event — originally planned as Brick Works Sheffield — will now take place in Leeds, marking an important update to the 2026 series programme. The event will continue to showcase inventive brick architecture, celebrate expert craftsmanship, and explore the environmental benefits of clay brick.

The Leeds edition will take place at Northern Monk on Thursday 6th August, from 5:30pm to 8:30pm. The event is open to architects, specifiers, contractors, and industry professionals, offering an evening of project-led presentations, networking, and the opportunity to earn CPD credits.

NEWS | CCPI Mark achieved for Brick Soffit Systems

IG Masonry Support has earned the Code for Construction Product Information (CCPI) mark for our Brick Soffit Systems, including B.O.S.S. A1 (Brick on Soffit System) and Brick Panel System.

Developed by the Construction Product Association (CPA) in response to Dame Judith Hackitt’s review of Building Regulations and Fire Safety, the CCPI sets out an 11-clause framework aimed at raising standards in how product information is managed and marketed across the construction manufacturing sector. Its goal is to move the industry towards product information that is clear, accessible, accurate, current and unambiguous.

By achieving CCPI conformance, we’re giving specifiers and buyers greater assurance that our product information meets these rigorous standards, a growing priority as the industry places more weight on dependable performance data and alignment with the Building Safety Act.

The CCPI Assessed Status for our Brick Soffit Systems is valid for two years, reflecting our continued focus on keeping product information accurate and up to date as standards evolve. This latest recognition builds on our growing portfolio of manufacturing and product certifications, reinforcing our position as a trusted, compliant partner across the construction industry.

“Achieving the CCPI mark for our Brick Soffit Systems is a significant milestone for IG Masonry Support; it means every product range we manufacture now carries CCPI Assessed Status. This isn’t just a certification exercise; it’s a reflection of how seriously we take our responsibility to specifiers, buyers and the wider industry in the wake of the Building Safety Act.

Having consistent, trusted and independently assessed product information across our entire portfolio gives our customers real confidence when they choose IG Masonry Support. It’s a milestone we’re incredibly proud of, and one that reflects the hard work of everyone across the business who has helped get us here.” said Andy Neal, Managing Director of IG Masonry Support.
