Achieving CCPI conformance enhances customer trust and helps to give greater confidence that product information is conforming with the CCPI. This is increasingly vital for specifiers and buyers seeking reliable product performance information and supporting some of their needs in relation to compliance with the Building Safety Act.

The CCPI Assessed Status for Folded Angle product information is valid for two years, demonstrating our commitment to ongoing improvement and proactive advancement of production information and marketing standards.

NEWS | Training commitment expands to Caxton Academy

IG Masonry Support is delighted to announce the expansion of its apprenticeship support programme through a new partnership with Caxton Academy, reinforcing its dedication to addressing the skills shortage by offering free training support and materials.

Through this new collaboration with Caxton Academy in Birmingham, IG Masonry Support  is taking proactive steps to ensure the next generation of bricklayers are equipped with the skills needed to meet industry demands. As part of this collaboration, IG Masonry Support is providing high quality training resources and equipment including tool bags and tools, uniforms, and training demonstration days.

The initiative reflects IG Masonry Support’s commitment to corporate social responsibility and dedication to giving back to its customers and the wider industry. By investing in the training and development of apprentices, IG Masonry Support aims to contribute to a well-equipped, skilled workforce for the future of masonry and construction.

“We are delighted to be able to support Caxton Academy as they ‘skill-up’ a new generation of bricklayers and façade installers,” said Siobhan Martin, Marketing Manager at IG Masonry Support. “The ongoing skills shortage in the construction industry is a well-known, long-standing issue. The partnership with Caxton Academy comes at a critical time, with the sector facing significant workforce challenges. According to the National House Building Council (NHBC), there are still 33,000 more bricklayers needed in the housebuilding sector to meet government targets.

NEWS | Kyle Alexander promoted to General Manager

IG Masonry Support, a division of The Keystone Group, has announced the promotion of Kyle Alexander to General Manager, reinforcing the company’s commitment to providing innovative products and exceptional service to its valued customers.

Kyle brings nearly two decades of experience within the Keystone Group to the role, having started his career as a Technical Engineer  in 2006. Over the years, Kyle has become a familiar face across the Keystone Group family, contributing to the success of businesses like Keystone Lintels and Keylite Roof Windows. His diverse experience spans sales, quoting, structural engineering, detailing, and logistics – a true testament to his versatility and commitment.

Kyle joined IG Masonry Support as an Account Manager in 2012 and progressed through several project management roles before becoming Project and Engineering Manager in 2019.  His extensive experience with the company makes him a strong candidate for the General Manager position.

In this new role, Kyle will focus on the entire customer experience, ensuring a positive interaction from initial contact through product delivery. He will also continue his important work on the Building Safety Act and company accreditations while contributing to the development of other areas of the business.

Delighted with his promotion, Kyle said: “Since joining the Keystone Group in 2006, I’ve enjoyed working with several of its businesses, including Keystone Lintels, Keylite Roof Windows, IG Lintels, and most recently, IG Masonry Support,” says Kyle. “I’ve been fortunate to have held many varied roles within these businesses, and as General Manager, I’ll leverage all my experience to oversee the customer journey from the initial inquiry through product delivery.
