Perry Barr Residential Scheme

Plot seven is just one of 11 plots making up the Perry Barr Residential Scheme Phase 1 in Birmingham.

Overview

The six-storey buildings that make up the plot were designed by both Glancy Nicholls Architects and Glenn Howells Architects and built by contractors Vinci Construction and Caxton Builders.

Completed ahead of the 2022 Commonwealth Games, IG Masonry Support supplied our Welded Masonry Support systems in both standard and inverted variations fixed back to our Cast-in Channel for all levels of the build. Specialised masonry support systems were also designed for corners of the building to support loads from 1.5kN/m up to 17.7kN/m and to ensure structural integrity.

We also supplied Reveal Support Plates to support the first few bricks in the full brick window reveals during the construction.
