Free Wharf Phase 1 (Block G & H)

Phase One of the waterside development, comprising Blocks G and H, features multiple buildings with distinctive curved façades. This design required meticulously engineered, bespoke masonry support solutions. IG Masonry Support played a key role in this phase, supplying systems for both blocks.

Custom masonry support units were precisely designed to follow the development’s tight architectural curves. Our scope encompassed the design and supply of Welded Masonry Support, including bespoke corner units, Folded Angle masonry support, and specially manufactured brick components tailored to meet the project’s complex architectural detailing.

Close coordination was essential, particularly at the first-floor corners of Block H. Through early onsite surveying and close collaboration with the contractor, our systems were instrumental in achieving the structural integrity of this affordable housing scheme.

Following the successful completion of Phase One, IG Masonry Support has been appointed for Phase Two of the Free Wharf development. Building on the strong partnership established during the initial phase and our proven expertise in delivering tailored solutions, we are excited to continue our contribution to this landmark project.
