EVENT | Brick Works Manchester with IG Masonry Support

IG Masonry Support is delighted to partner with the Brick Development Association for the 2026 Brick Works Series — a nationwide programme celebrating contemporary brick architecture, design and innovation.

The Brick Works Series brings together architects, specifiers, contractors and construction professionals for a programme of engaging evening events, exploring the versatility of brickwork through project-led presentations and providing valuable opportunities for networking and continuing professional development (CPD).

Each event features presentations from architectural practices and industry experts, sharing insights into innovative projects, creative brick applications and the design and technical considerations shaping today’s built environment.

The Manchester edition of Brick Works will take place on Thursday 19th November 2026 at 53Two, Manchester, from 5:30pm to 9pm. The evening will bring together industry professionals for a programme of inspiring project presentations, networking and refreshments in a relaxed setting.

As part of the evening, IG Masonry Support’s Richard Lord, Technical Specification Manager, will join Simon Davies of Tim Groom Architects to present House of Social — a 14-storey student living development at First Street, Manchester. The presentation will explore the project’s architectural vision, the challenges of coordinating a complex façade and the collaborative approach required to deliver its distinctive brickwork design.
