The Exchange

In partnership with Aylesbury Vale District Council, main contractor Durkan worked with Hunters Architects to design and deliver Aylesbury town’s first purpose-built mixed restaurant, commercial and residential development.

 

Overview

The ground floor level of the building features a strong design element of an arched colonnade where the food and beverage units open out onto the new pedestrian square. The architect’s design ‘complements and takes inspiration from the historic arches into the town square’.

IG Masonry Support played a crucial part in the final façade with the design, manufacture and supply of our B.O.S.S. (Brick on Soffit System), Welded Masonry Support, Windposts and Stone Supporting Arch Units.
