We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Quality Assurance Assistant, based in Swadlincote. You will report to the Quality Assurance Lead and will be working with the Brick Fabrication Manager.
The role will primarily involve:
- Monitoring compliance
- Manage documentation controlled by the QMS
- Promote the importance of quality across the site
- Involvement in product development
- Validate current and new production processes
- To liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure quality output is maintained
- Manage calibration of shop floor equipment
- Promote a “Continuous Improvement” culture
- Ensuring products meet customer requirements
- Reporting and data collation
- Assisting Quality Assurance Lead with training sessions
The successful candidate:
- 1 year experience in a similar role preferable
- Excellent communicator with the drive to succeed and provide exceptional customer service
- Analytical thinker
- Professional and motivated to develop themselves to become an integral part of the team
- Knowledge of Microsoft packages including Excel and Word
